For this Golden Coast project we used our Matterport 360 degree camera to create a spa and sauna interactive showroom tour that focused on highlighting the products in their environment, as if the customer was viewing them in the actual showroom. In order to do this we placed the camera in strategic points so that each spa and sauna had several different views around it, so that it could be seen from all angles.
Because of the unique nature of the technology we were also able to actually get inside the saunas and capture the full 360 view from inside, something that you would be unable to do with images and providing a useful tool for any companies looking to showcase every aspect of their products.
Tours like this are invaluable to clients as they can be tagged up with hyperlinks, so each component can be linked back to the store for purchase, creating an extremely simple shopping process or even just as a useful informative tool.
The Matterport 360 Virtual Tour technology allows us to gain a stunning insight into each vehicle or space that we have scanned and easily share this with potential car owners in a variety of ways. We can embed codes to the car retailers websites as well as other sites including facebook,twitter and instagram for example.
The addition of ‘mattertags’ allow us to ‘tag’ up cars and other vehicles or showrooms. A tag is essentially a physical link which people can interact with as they walk through a space. These link back to webpages, for example showcasing the car retailers contact information at the click of a button, informing costs and prices, as well as being able to directly link to the booking a test drive.
